About Bex

Rebecca Manners, known as Bex, is an artisanal designer based between Bali and Europe. Her namesake design studio is built on the philosophy that bespoke jewellery and objects are deeply connecting to the human experience and have the power to enrich people’s lives, creator as well as collector. Having developed her own ‘Art of Slow’ approach through her work with artisans around the world, Bex currently works in close collaboration with Indonesian and Burmese masters of craft to create contemporary silhouettes while preserving traditional techniques.

Moving beyond the notion of seasons and trends, instead, connectivity, humanity, transparency and spirituality are at the fore encapsulating the timelessness of each piece, made to be kept and cherished for a lifetime.

Born and raised in Menorca, Bex spent a decade working as a creative director and stylist in New York before launching her renowned jewellery brand Bex Rox London, globally known for bold statement pieces and a vibrant playful universe inspired by the natural world.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the custom process work?

Here’s a typical workflow: 1. Inquiry / Consultation – You submit a request (via contact form or email) with your ideas, the style you love, budget, and timeline. 2. Concept & Sketch – we will send you a catalogue of styles and available textiles to choose from- then initial concept sketches or digital mockups for your feedback. 3. Refinement – We revise the design together until you are fully happy. 4. Material Sourcing & Fabrication – We select appropriate materials (metals, pigments, textiles, etc.) and begin crafting. 5. Progress Updates – You receive photos / updates at key stages (e.g. structural build, finishing) 6. Completion & Delivery – Final piece is polished, quality‐checked, packaged, and shipped or delivered.

How much does a bespoke piece cost?

Because each piece is unique, cost depends on factors such as: • Complexity of design • Type, rarity, and quantity of materials • Size and scale • Craftsmanship techniques (hand-painting, inlays, engraving, etc.) • Timeline (rush orders may incur premium fees) We can provide a starting quote or range after an initial discussion of your vision.

What’s the typical timeline for a custom piece?

Timelines vary depending on complexity and workload, but typically: • Simple custom jewellery: 6-10 weeks • More elaborate wearable art for tailoring around 4-10 weeks. Rush or priority scheduling may be possible — we’ll outline that in the proposal stage.

Do you provide care instructions and maintenance?

Yes. Every piece comes with bespoke care instructions (cleaning method, storage recommendations, periodic checks). For metal components, we may offer polishing or maintenance services (at extra cost) over time.
